1 min readA poignant reflection on a past relationship that serves as a reminder to express appreciation for loved ones while they are present.
I met her in a parking lot Our first date in the cold We set a makeshift table We made our way back home.
We made love that first night Attracted at first sight Her body irresistible Her blue dress in my mind.
She’s music to my ears She’s colors to my eyes She’s dreams in my neocortex She’s kindness to my heart.
She’s sexy and curvaceous She’s cunning as a fox She loves my magic penis She has two clever dogs.
We took a great vacation Topanga Canyon set We walked up in the mountains We witnessed fire and rain.
She’s music to my ears She’s colors to my eyes She’s dreams in my neocortex She’s kindness to my heart.
Piano improvisations Culinary creations Dog walking, bougainvillea Jacuzzi baths and all.
And when a crash prevented My ride from being mine She found a great replacement And set me on my way.
She’s music to my ears She’s colors to my eyes She’s dreams in my neocortex She’s kindness to my heart.
I left her in a parking lot Just like in our first date I never dreamed that would be The last of her I‘d see.
She said I never told her How beautiful I found her So never hesitate To let her know, my mate.
She’s music to my ears She’s colors to my eyes She’s dreams in my neocortex She’s kindness to my heart.
